Architecture Competition
“Knot on my Watch” was a proposal for the Kurgi Farm Observation Tower Architecture Competiton. Our teams proposal of two interconnected towers used a steel structure threaded with ropes, and delivered a low impact on the site but an imposing statement on the landscape.
The separation of viewing areas allowed for directed attention to the Kurgi Farm in the immediate context, and also the Vidzeme Biosphere in the wider context. This approach allowed the separation of functions between the two masses.
